Rossem or real name Rosidi Semail, was born on 1948 in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia, has a graphic diploma from a university in Kuala Lumpur. Started cartooning in 1970, in 1978 the cartoon was first published in the popular Malaysian newspaper “Utusan Malaysia” for 15 years (1978-1993). 1993 -2001 worked as the editorial cartoonist of The Sun (Malaysia) newspaper in Kuala Lumpur. Cartoons are drawn about political and social criticism.
