The 14th Biennial International Cartoon Contest FRAŠTACKÝ TŔŇ was announced by the Ex libris ad personam Hlohovec /ELAP/ on April 1 this year on the theme: Energy.
98 cartoonists from England, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, China, Greece, Croatia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Colombia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Hungary, Morocco, Germany, Norway, Peru, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, the United States of America, Serbia, Sweden, Italy, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and 8 cities of Slovakia presented their original views on the role of different types of energy in our lives through 417 works.
At its meeting on August 25, the competition works will be evaluated by a jury composed of:
Chairman - Vlado Pavlík, cartoonist, Fero Bojničan, cartoonist - director of the competition, Helena Pekarovičová, president of the ELAP, Jozef Urminský, director of the Homeland Museum in Hlohovec, Marián Kamenčík, member ELAP and museum employee and Ján Libant, a longtime cultural worker.
We will announce the 14th year contest results on September 30 at 4:30 p.m. in the Exhibition Hall of the Homeland Museum at Rázusová Street 6 in Hlohovec.
