Winners of the 49th International Humor Exhibition of Piracicaba 2022
The Brazilian Rafael Plaisant (Plaï) is the winner of the Grand Prize of the 49th International Humor Exhibition of Piracicaba with a strip about the future of Brazil.
Angel Boligan (Mexico) was awarded in the cartoon category.
Ronaldo Cunha Dias (Brazil), was awarded in charge category.
Emerson Carvalho de Souza, the Chameleon (Brazil), was also awarded in caricature category.
Gean Lucas (Brazil), with the Unimed Health Award.
Stefaan Provijn (Belgium), with the Thematic Award - E-commerce.
Emerson José Pereira, aka Bocão, (USA), with the Câmara Award.
The 49th International Humor Exhibition of Piracicaba is made up of 315 works by 176 artists from 30 countries, these works were selected among the 1,990 works, from 365 artists from 40 countries.
The Salon's drawing categories are cartoon, charge, caricature and comic strips.
The countries represented at the exhibition, in addition to Brazil, are Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Croatia, Spain, Indonesia, Italy, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
