Ghandi Intrernational Caricature Exhibition


To celebrate Mahatma Gandhi's birthday, the Embassy of India in Cairo is organizing a caricature exhibition in collaboration with Fayoum Art Center and Egypt Cartoon, the Exhibition will be held on October, at Maulana Azad Center for Indian Culture in Cairo. 
 
Theme: Mahatma Gandhi 
Born on 2 October 1869, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, commonly known as Mahatma Gandhi, is known for his social, political and spiritual philosophy, which inspired people across the globe. Committed to non-violence (Satyagraha) and promoting a simple life, Gandhi became a symbol of peace and truth not only in his native India but also internationally. 
His birthday is celebrated as "International Day of Non-Violence".
 
We encourage Caricaturists from all over the world to participate in this exhibition.
• Submitted works can be in color or black and white, in any style or technique.
• All artworks to be prepared at 300 dpi.
• Size A3 (297mmx420mm) in JPEG format.
• Please mention the artist's name and country with the artwork.
• All participants whose works will be exhibited will receive a digital catalog and a digital certificate of participation.
• All selected works for exhibition may be used by the organizers to promote this exhibition.
 
Deadline: 20 September 2022.
