7th International Green Crescent Cartoon Contest is being organized with the theme "Life Overcomes Addiction", 130,000 TRY in total will be awarded to the winners of the contest for which the deadline is January 31, 2023.

The Contest’s Theme: "Life Overcomes Addictions"
The theme of the cartoon contest is decided; "Life Overcomes Addictions", we aim that through our cartoonist’s work on this theme, we will raise awareness against the alcohol, tobacco, drug, gambling, and technology addictions that harm the health of our people, prevent them from spending quality time, and cause them to break away from social life. We want the power and impact of healthy living to be shared with the world and with youth worldwide through the eyes of cartoonists.
TERMS and CONDITIONS
NUMBER OF WORKS
Up to 3 works can be sent, published works may be participated in, provided that they are not awarded.
SIZE
A4 or A3.
TECHNIQUE
Black and white or colored
LANGUAGE
Turkish or English (text will be used if necessary, but not visual / verbal).
PARTICIPATION
The artist must send his cartoons on website, no later than January 31, 2023.
Cartoons' digital files must be max 5 MB, 300 dpi, JPG, A4 or A3 format.
Green
Crescent can use the cartoons participating in the race in any way he
wants. It does not create any copyright for these works.AWARDS
1st prize winner will receive 25,000 TRY.
2nd prize winner will receive 20,000 TRY.
3rd prize will receive 15,000 TRY.
Additionally, 10,000 TRY will be awarded to the 3 Success Prizes winners each.
10,000 TRY to the Mazhar Osman Special Award winner.
The ‘Under 16’ category, taking submissions this year for the first time, will earn 3 winners 10,000 TRY.
- All award winning artists will be given a plaque and travel and accommodation costs will be covered.
