The International Women’s Day on March 8th, is an emblematic date on which the world devotes a time for reflection and awareness of how humanity has progressed in the construction of equality between men and women. Since a group of women demanded equal rights and opportunities, the world is struggling to build a fair and equitable partnership between men and women.
Therefore, on this day, I want to express my appreciation to those brave women who have been part of many conquests on the way to achieve a just and egalitarian society.
This special edition of the International Exhibition of Graphic Humor, Peru 2016, exposes different expressions of violence against woman, in order to commemorate the International Women’s Day.
