Results of the 2nd International Cartoon Competition "Diogen of Sinop" in Turkey
Theme: Amazons
The 2nd Sinoplu Diogenes International Amazons Cartoon Competition, organized by the Municipality of Ayancık and the Sinop Writers, Poets and Painters Association, was concluded.
Sculptor Eşref Baş (Turkey), writer Tufan Bilgili (Turkey), and cartoonists Adnan Taç (Turkey), Altan Özeskici (Turkey), Aşkın Ayrancıoğlu (Turkey), Elena Ospina (Colombia), Erhan Yaşar Babalık (Turkey), Izabela Kowalska-Wieczorek (Poland), Musa Keklik (Turkey), and Nahid Maghsoudi (Iran) selected 850 works of 217 artists from 46 countries.
Among the artists who reflect the warrior spirit of the Amazons against child marriage, violence against women, abuse and rape, femicide, exploitation, enslavement of women and male domination with aesthetic and artistic values, the following were awarded:
