With a powerful message about the lack of respect for forests and indigenous peoples, the experienced cartoonist Gilmar Machado, known in the world of graphic arts for four decades simply as Gilmar, is the winner of the Grand Prize – Zélio de Ouro Trophy at the 51st Piracicaba International Humor Exhibition. The work also won the Cartoon Award. The announcement was made on the evening of this Saturday, 08/31, on the outdoor stage of the Erotides de Campos Municipal Theater, the Engenho Theater, in Piracicaba (SP), during the opening ceremony of the event.
