✒️ Between Cartoons and Politics: Art as a Weapon of Awareness
"CartUNAL" was not merely an art biennial, it was a symbolic platform that transcended language and geography. Here, cartooning became a space of visual resistance, a tool of awareness confronting marginalization, demanding empowerment, and redrawing the relationship between women and authority, giving voice to the voiceless in a world full of obstacles.
In these works, the brush spoke about women in the streets, in parliaments, and in decision-making halls. It also spoke about silence, absence, and the long road of struggle.
