🎨 Artworks That Dazzle and Provoke Thought
It is worth noting that the festival received over 1170 artworks submitted by 411 artists from 80 countries, reflecting its strong international presence.

The catalog offers more than artistic visuals—it presents deep, clever visual narratives crafted by artists who translated humanitarian and social concerns through the language of ink, metaphor, and symbolism.

🟢 Under the theme of "Food Security," the artworks varied between realism and symbolism, from biting satire to gentle humor, they addressed: the struggle of nations with hunger and poverty, the greed of large corporations, the dangers of environmental degradation in agriculture. All through an artistic lens that stirs emotion and prompts reflection, the artworks expressed this message with a power that matches the gravity of a crisis threatening millions around the world.

👤 The second section of the catalog focused on caricature portraits of the late Noureddine Benani, a prominent figure in Moroccan and Arab cartoon art, these contributions felt like visual tributes rich in affection and respect, with artists capturing Benani’s spirit through a blend of wit and warmth, his features—marked by wisdom and a subtle smile—appeared in diverse techniques and styles, yet all succeeded in capturing his essence.

🎭 With this release, FICA reaffirms its place as a global platform for cartoon art, where sharp ideas meet intelligent satire, and major world issues are told through brushes that can both make us laugh and bring us to tears.
