IDEAL EDUCATION FOUNDATION THE TEST OF UMMAH: GAZA INTERNATIONAL CARTOON COMPETITION
• Participation in the competition is free of charge.
• IDEAL EDUCATION FOUNDATION employees, representatives, coordinators and 1st degree relatives and jury members cannot participate in the competition.
• People of all ages can participate in the competition. Participation from abroad is also possible.
• Each participant can participate in the contest with a maximum of 3 cartoons.
• The cartoons to be sent to the contest may have been published before, but must not have been awarded in any contest. In case of detection of this situation, the relevant cartoon will be excluded from the competition.
• Cartoons designed with artificial intelligence (AI) will be excluded from the evaluation.
• Cartoons submitted, whether awarded or not, will not be returned.
• The originals of the cartoons that have been ranked and awarded in the competition must be delivered by the cartoon owners to the commission responsible for the organization at least 1 week before the award ceremony.
• The cartoons that will be sent will be displayed as a cartoon exhibition before the award ceremony.
• Cartoon drawings must be designed in A4, A3 or 35x50 size.
• Participants who want can also participate in the competition with digital drawings.
• Participants are free to use all kinds of techniques and materials suitable for their own style of expression.
• Participants can use Turkish or another language in their cartoons, but visual expression must be prioritized.
• Digital cartoons must be sent to the specified e-mail address in 300 DPI, maximum 5 MB in size, in JPG or PDF format.
• Those who send works to the competition are deemed to have declared and undertaken that the works belong to them. If similar works are found or if it is determined that they are copies, the work will be removed from the competition. Even if it has won an award, the authority to cancel the awards belongs to the organizing committee.
• Participants who are ranked at the end of the competition will participate in the award ceremony with their own means.
• The original caricatures and the participation form will be sent to the central address of our foundation by hand, mail or cargo. Those who want to send their cartoons via e-mail will also be able to send them to the specified e-mail address.
• The "Application Form" and "Contest Specifications" will be available from our foundation's www.idev.org.tr address and our social media accounts.
• Wrinkled, worn and damaged works will not be accepted.
• Works that reach our foundation center after the delivery date will not be evaluated.
• Our foundation is not responsible for any damage to the Works in the mail and any delay that may arise from the mail.
• No information will be written on the front side of the works to be sent to the competition, only the participant's information will be written in the lower left corner of the back of the work.
• Name, surname, phone number, postal and e-mail addresses will be written on the back of the original and digitally printed works Participants in the competition must fill out the participation form on the website and send it with their cartoons.
• Entrants under 18 years of age must add the signatures of their legal guardians that they accept the conditions.
• Those who send works to the competition are deemed to have declared and undertaken that the works belong to them. IDEAL EDUCATION FOUNDATION does not accept any responsibility for the permissions and copyrights of the participants' cartoons.
• The works participating in the competition can be published in various promotional materials (brochures, exhibitions, calendars, posters, etc.) to be prepared by IDEAL EDUCATION FOUNDATION by using the name of the author. The owner of the work cannot claim royalties under any circumstances regarding the published works and those who participate in the competition are deemed to have accepted these conditions.
• The travel fee and 1 night accommodation expenses of the person who will participate in the award ceremony will be covered by our foundation.
