In a spirit filled with hope and a desire to shape a more just world, the Culture and Arts Commission of the Human Rights Association Istanbul Branch, has announced the members of the jury for the 2nd International Cartoon Contest themed "Peace".
The jury brings together a distinguished group of artists from around the world, each representing a unique artistic style, yet united by a deep belief in the power of cartooning to defend human values.
👥 The jury members (in alphabetical order) are:
🎨 Altan Özeskici (Turkey): One of the leading figures in political cartooning in Turkey, known for his sharp and impactful visual style.
🎨 Aşkın Ayrancıoğlu (Turkey): Cartoonist and educator, recognized for his works that blend profound ideas with satirical expression.
🎨 Hüseyin Çakmak (Cyprus): An artist known for his strong commitment to human rights issues and a recipient of multiple international awards.
🎨 Izabela Kowalska-Wieczorek (Poland): Portrait and cartoon artist whose works are known for their expressive depth and artistic richness.
🎨 Musa Keklik (Turkey): Visual artist and activist focused on justice and human rights themes.
🎨 Oleksiy Kustovsky (Ukraine): Internationally renowned artist known for his witty satire and powerful visual storytelling.
