Special Awards Announced at the 27th International Cartoon Contest

In an atmosphere rich with diversity and innovation, the organizers of the 27th International Open Cartoon Contest in Zielona Góra, Poland (2025) have announced the winners of the Special Awards, as part of the final results of this year’s edition, themed "Fake News".

The contest attracted an impressive number of entries, with 746 artworks submitted by 220 artists from 43 countries, all tackling the concept of disinformation through a wide variety of satirical and artistic lenses.

🏅 Special Awards:
The Special Awards and Distinctions were granted to a selected group of artists whose works stood out for their original artistic techniques or creative interpretations of the theme.

🏆 Main Prizes:
It is worth noting that the main prizes had been announced earlier as follows: 
🥇 Grand Prix: Oleksiy Kustovsky - Ukraine 
🥈 Second Prize: Darko Drljević - Montenegro 
🥉 Third Prize: Shahrokh Heidari - France
 
🖼️ Exhibition & Catalog:
A special exhibition featuring the awarded and selected works will take place in September 2025, along with the release of a printed art catalogue showcasing the most remarkable entries of this edition.

🔹 The contest is organized by the Cyprian Norwid Regional and Public Library in Zielona Góra, in collaboration with the WINNICA Society, and is considered one of the most prestigious and long-standing cartoon contests in Europe due to its professional organization and relevant themes.
