The 35th edition catalog of the international festival "Umor la ... Gura Humorului", dedicated to cartoon and humorous literature, has been officially released, held annually in the northern Romanian town of Gura Humorului, the festival is organized under the patronage of the local municipality, Suceava County Council, and the Bucovina Cultural Centre.
This year’s edition carried the theme "Choice" and attracted professional artists from around the world, who submitted works that interpreted the concept with witty, original, and thought-provoking visual styles, blending satire with artistic expression.
The official catalogue features a selection of the most remarkable and powerful cartoon artworks submitted to the competition, it showcases a wide array of cultural influences and artistic approaches from multiple continents, this digital edition also serves as an important document highlighting the growing global presence of the festival and its role in supporting the art of satire on an international scale.
