Ain Association Announces the Finalists of the 2nd International Cartoon Competition in Algeria

With generous support from the Algerian Ministry of Culture and Arts and under the organization of the Ain Association for Cultural Creativity, the list of finalists for the 2nd International Cartoon Competition – Alg Best Toons 2025 has officially been announced, the event has grown to become one of the most prominent artistic platforms in the Arab world and Africa.

This edition witnessed remarkable participation from elite cartoonists across the globe, who competed with works that blend artistic expression with social and humanistic themes, conveyed through the lens of satire and creativity.

🎨 Competition Themes: Honoring Icons and Embracing the Digital Era
This year’s competition focused on two main themes:
🖼️ Caricature portrait of the renowned Algerian artist Salah Aougrout (Souileh) – a tribute to his influential career and cultural legacy.

🖌️ Digitization – offering artists a creative space to explore the impact of digital transformation on society and humanity.

🌟 These themes provided participants with a wide canvas for expression, from celebrating a beloved artist to reflecting on the complexities of our rapidly evolving digital world.

✨ A Global Gathering and a Message of Artistic Unity
The organizers extended their heartfelt thanks to all participating artists, emphasizing that every submitted work – whether selected as a finalist or not – enriched the competition and contributed to its success.
