In an unprecedented artistic event, the Adam Henein Hall at the El
Hanager Arts Center will host the opening of the first-ever
International Cartoon Exhibition dedicated to the Nile at 6:30 p.m. on
Wednesday, 13 August 2025, the event is part of the initiative "The Nile
Has a Lot .. for the Pride of Egyptian Identity", under the patronage
of H.E. Dr. Ahmed Fouad Henno, Minister of Culture, in cooperation with
numerous ministries and national institutions.
🖼️ The exhibition will be inaugurated by Mostafa El-Sheikh, President of the Egyptian Caricature Association, Fawzy Morsy, Secretary-General of the Association, and Shimaa Shafie, the exhibition’s coordinator, in the presence of senior officials from the Ministry of Culture and leading cartoonists from Egypt and around the world.
🎨 The event features 52 outstanding works of art created by 40 artists from 22 countries, offering imaginative perspectives that portray the Nile as a source of life, creativity, and civilization — from the era of the pharaohs to the present day.
