📢 The organizers of the international exhibition competition for Iraqi Cartoon Day 2025, have officially announced the list of participants for its 4th edition, held this year in celebration of the 94th 94th anniversary of Iraqi Cartoon Day.
🎯 The contest has attracted an impressive 271 artists from 50 countries, who submitted a total of 601 works, turning Baghdad into a global hub where creativity and cultures meet.
🎭 This year’s themes highlight the deep connection between art and reality, focusing on a caricature portrait of the late Iraqi artist Ghazi Al-Rassam (1925–1999), alongside social cartoons inspired by Iraqi heritage in the spirit of Al-Rassam, and works addressing the urgent global issue of water and drought.
🌍 With this announcement, the International Iraqi Cartoon Day Contest reaffirms its status as one of the most significant cultural and artistic events in the region, uniting creativity with a human message, and proving once again that cartoon art is a universal language that bridges nations and peoples.
