🎨 Egypt Cartoon Platform continues to shine on the international stage at one of the world’s most prestigious festivals, presenting this year an international exhibition titled "Gandhi" as part of the 44th International Salon of Caricature, Press Drawings, and Humor in Saint-Just-le-Martel, France, taking place from September 27 to October 5, 2025.
👥 The exhibition brings together artists from across the world to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi, the iconic leader of non-violence and peace, through artworks that reflect his philosophy and timeless humanistic message, offering fresh visual interpretations of his life and legacy that continue to inspire nations and liberation movements worldwide.
💬 Cartoonist Fawzy Morsy, Director of Egypt Cartoon platform, said: "This ongoing success is a cultural and artistic achievement, reflecting the platform’s ability to build bridges with international forums and to strengthen the presence of Egypt and the Arab world at the heart of the global caricature movement".
🏺 This marks the third consecutive year that the platform organizes an exhibition at Saint-Just-le-Martel, in 2023, Egypt Cartoon platform presented "Cartoons from Egypt", followed in 2024 by "Pharaonic Cartoons".
🏛️ Founded in 1982, the Saint-Just-le-Martel Salon has become Europe’s largest and most prestigious event dedicated to caricature and press drawings. Since 2011, it has been hosted at the International Center for Caricature and Humor, a permanent cultural institution with state-of-the-art exhibition halls and facilities.
