🇲🇦 The 8th edition of International Caricature Festival "FICA 2025" has announced the list of finalists in the Caricature Portrait Section, dedicated this year to honoring the distinguished Moroccan cartoonist Bouali Mbarek, a leading figure in the Arab and international caricature scene.
🖼️ Participating artists presented diverse and imaginative interpretations of the celebrated artist’s features, blending humor with artistic depth. Their works ranged from realistic satire to bold experimentation, all reflecting admiration for Bouali’s legacy and his influential artistic journey.
🌍 This year’s edition brings together 409 artists from 72 countries, presenting a total of 1,227 artworks — a true global celebration of creativity, diversity, and the universal language of caricature.
🎨 The jury expressed great appreciation for the outstanding artistic level of the participating works, emphasizing that the selected finalists represent the very best of global artistic expression and highlight Morocco’s growing stature as a cultural and artistic hub for caricature.
