
🇧🇪 The city of Olen in Belgium proudly announced the results of the 37th edition of the Olense Kartoenale 2025, one of the most prestigious international cartoon competitions celebrating creativity, humor, and social commentary, this year, 489 artists from 69 different countries, submitted a total of 1972 cartoons.
🖼️ The main theme of the competition was "The Artist", while a special theme in partnership with Amnesty International focused on "Right to everyone who needs shelter".
🏆 During the award ceremony held on Friday, 14 November, the jury revealed the winners:
🥇 First Prize: Ben van Mierlo - 🇳🇱 The Nederland
🥈 Second Prize: Pol Leurs - 🇱🇺 Luxemburg
🥉 Third Prize: Predrag Srbljanin - 🇷🇸 Serbia
🏅 Fourth Prize: Gergely Bacsa - 🇭🇺 Hungary
🎖️Prize of the city of Bialogard: Emil Idzikowski - 🇵🇱 Poland
🎖️ Amnesty International Prize: Anneke van Steijn - 🇳🇱 The Nederland

🏆 Due to the absence of Belgian youth submissions this year, the jury exceptionally awarded two international youth prizes:
🥇 Sare Nur Toydas 🇹🇷 won Best International Youth Entry
🥈 Seyed Sadra Mirmohammadi 🇮🇷 received the Second Youth Prize
