Photos from the Opening of CARICATUNIS 2025

📸 The Egypt Cartoon Platform now publishes a collection of photo highlights capturing the opening of CARICATUNIS 2025, the 5th edition of the international caricature and portrait competition.

🎨 With more than 250 artists from 56 countries and a total of 528 artworks (399 cartoons + 129 satirical portraits), this year’s edition stands as one of the most dynamic and diverse in the event’s history.

👤 One of the most striking segments of this year’s exhibition is the Portrait Section dedicated to Evelyne Porret, the inspirational figure known as the "Godmother of Tunis Village".

 

 

💬 Artists presented a wide range of satirical, expressive, and stylistic interpretations, paying tribute to her legacy in supporting arts, crafts, and creative communities in Fayoum.
