🇪🇬 The 5th Egyptian Cartoon Festival opened yesterday evening at the Mahmoud Mokhtar Cultural Center in Cairo, in a festive atmosphere attended by prominent figures from the art, journalism, and cultural scene, as well as several accredited diplomats.
👤 The exhibition was inaugurated by Mohamed Abla (visual artist), Waleed Togan (Editor-in-Chief, Sabah El Kheir magazine), Ayman Abdel Magid (Editor-in-Chief, Rose El Youssef newspaper), Mostafa El-Sheikh (President of the Egyptian Caricature Association), and Fawzy Morsy (Exhibition Commissioner and Secretary-General of the Egyptian Caricature Association).
🏛️ The festival features over 150 artworks from 35 countries, divided into two main themes: one honoring the legendary artist Ahmed Togan with caricature portraits, and another celebrating the world’s joy at the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
❤️ The presented works showcase refined artistic vision, blending smart humor with human emotion, reflecting admiration for the global event while conveying a message of love for Egyptian heritage and peace to the world.
