2nd International Cartoon Contest in Turkey

BOYABAT YOUTH CENTER / BOYABAT ACADEMY SPORTS CLUB
2nd INTERNATIONAL CARTOON CONTEST – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The contest is open to adults aged 18 and over, and to young people under the age of 18 from all over the world.
2. Contest Theme: “Forest Fires”
Forest fires are a global disaster that destroy not only trees, but also life, memory, and the future. In Türkiye and across the world, millions of hectares of forest are reduced to ashes every year due to human negligence, arson, climate crisis, and irresponsible interventions. These fires cause irreversible damage to nature, wildlife, human labor, and our shared living spaces.
The aim of this contest is to draw attention to forest fires through the universal language of cartoon art, to raise public awareness, and to invite humanity to rethink its responsibility toward nature.
3. There is no technical restriction on the submitted works. However, artworks produced using artificial intelligence will not be accepted. Cartoons deemed by the jury to be identical, similar, or belonging to another cartoonist will be disqualified. All responsibility arising from such situations lies with the participant.
4. Participants may submit any number of works that have not previously received awards. However, no participant may receive more than one prize.
5. Since participation is via the internet, submitted cartoons must be no larger than A3 size (29.7 cm x 42 cm), 300 dpi resolution, and in JPG format.
6. Submitted works must be sent by e-mail no later than April 1, 2026 to the following address:
boygencmercartoon@gmail.com
7. All participants must send their name, surname, age, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address, a short biography, and one photograph along with their submitted works.
