📣 The 12th International Exhibition of Visual Humorous Artworks, which has become a tradition of the Humor Art Association (Mizah Sanatı Derneği) and is organized on an international scale, bringing together 3 art branches such as cartoon, photography, and sculpture in a single exhibition, will be open between April 13-19, 2026. All cartoon, photography, and sculpture artists can participate in the international exhibition, for which the deadline for participation is April 01, 2026.
🎯 CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE EXHIBITION...
1- The exhibition includes works in the disciplines of cartoon, photography, and sculpture.
2- All professional artists active in the relevant disciplines may participate in the exhibition.
3- The subject is free, though works in the genre of humor/comedy will be preferred.
4- Sculptures must be packaged in a way that they will not be damaged during shipping. If requested, the responsibility for the return of the sent works belongs to the exhibition organization.
5- Artists may participate with a maximum of 3 works in total across the fields of cartoon, photography, and sculpture. Considering the possibilities of the exhibition venue and the exhibition album, the works shall be numbered by the participating artists according to priority. This process will facilitate the organization in case a reduction in the number of works is required.
6- The size for cartoons and photographs shall be 50x70 cm. Sculptures shall not be larger than 50 cm, including the pedestal.
7- Each participant shall send their short biography written in a Word file (biographies may be shortened according to available page limits), their personal photographs scanned in high resolution (300 dpi) in .jpg format, and the images of the works they will send to the exhibition to the Humor Art Association’s e-mail address (mizahsanatidernegi@gmail.com) for use in the exhibition album to be prepared. In case of large file sizes, they must send them via programs such as WeTransfer or Google Drive by APRIL 01, 2026.
8- Participants shall send their e-mails with the phrase "12.uluslararası Görsel Mizahi Yapıtlar Sergisi" in the subject line. Artists who wish to do so may deliver their ready-to-exhibit works (especially sculptures) by hand or via cargo to the address: Trabzon Sanatevi, Yavuz Selim Bulvarı Cumhuriyet Mahallesi Özgür Caddesi No:16 Ortahisar/Trabzon. Participation in the exhibition will end on APRIL 01, 2026, at 17:00. Works arriving after this date will not be taken into consideration.
9- The Organization Committee has the authority to make arrangements regarding the exhibition display. Rights regarding copyright, such as the use of works sent to the exhibition in visual and written press and social media pages, and being subjected to printed processes like albums and catalogs, belong to the Humor Art Association.
10- Works that do not meet the specified conditions and the works of artists who do not fulfill the requirements in the specification will be excluded from the exhibition and the exhibition album. Those participating in the competition are deemed to have accepted these conditions.
