FECONEWS Magazine Releases Issue No. 87 Highlighting Global Cartoon Events

📰 FECO has officially released Issue 87 of FECO NEWS Magazine, its latest digital edition, continuing its long-standing mission to document and promote international cartoon art and cartoonists worldwide.

✍️ Anmong the major highlights of Issue 87 is extensive coverage of the 14th International Cartoon Competition and Exhibition held during the 24th International Olive Festival in Cyprus, with participation from 170 cartoonists representing 45 countries.

🎉 The magazine also celebrates major milestones in the cartoon world, including the 40th anniversary of the Croatian Cartoonists Association, reports on leading international humor festivals, and showcases award-winning exhibitions across Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

🕊️ A special and highly meaningful feature in this issue is the International Exhibition of Gandhi Caricatures, organized in India to mark the 75th anniversary of Karnataka Gandhi Smarak Nidhi.

🎨 The exhibition presents a rich collection of caricatures by artists from around the world, celebrating Mahatma Gandhi as a universal symbol of peace, non-violence, and human dignity.

👤 This issue presents in-depth profiles of prominent cartoonists such as Erdogan Basol, Annette Müllender, and Christophe Blain, alongside thoughtful articles on social humor, freedom of expression, political cartooning, and climate change.

🌍 Additionally, Issue 87 highlights global events from Basel, Trento, Cordoba, Guadalajara, St. Just Le Martel, and features international competitions, retrospectives, and critical essays that underline the continuing relevance of cartoons in today’s world.

📅 FECO NEWS Magazine 87 is published digitally in January 2026 and is available to FECO members and cartoon enthusiasts worldwide.
