🚇 In an unusual and eye-catching scene inside a metro station, Safaa Hegazy Station welcomed its passengers today with a remarkable cultural surprise: the opening of an international cartoon exhibition. The exhibition immediately captured the attention of commuters, sparking curiosity and amazement before turning into moments of joy and genuine enjoyment of the displayed artworks.
👀 Dozens of passengers paused to explore the artworks in an artistic experience beyond the ordinary. Visitors expressed their admiration for the idea of hosting an art exhibition inside a metro station, describing it as a refreshing and innovative initiative that brings art closer to people within their everyday surroundings.
🏛️ The exhibition is held under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, and features more than 50 artworks by artists from 35 countries. The participating works reflect a global celebration of the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, recognized as a major international cultural event. This exhibition comes as part of the initiative “We Are Celebrating the Grand Egyptian Museum, and There Are Still Many Egyptian Museums to Discover”, launched by the Ministry of Culture last month to promote state-affiliated museums and reach a wider audience.
🌍 The exhibition showcases a diverse collection of artworks that skillfully blend meaningful satire with human expression, reflecting the global resonance of the event and highlighting the role of caricature art in expressing joy and celebrating major cultural milestones.
