🇲🇦 The official catalog of the 8th International Caricature Competition, organized as part of the International Caricature Festival in Africa (FICA 2025) in Morocco, has been officially released, presenting a rich collection of outstanding caricature artworks created by artists from around the world.
🌍 The eighth edition of the festival took place in the Moroccan city of Agadir from 13 to 16 November 2025, bringing together cartoonists from different continents in one of Africa’s most important caricature events.
🖌️ The competition included two main categories:
1️⃣ Cartoon Section: Focused on the environmental theme “Seas and Oceans – Planetary Wealth in Danger”.
2️⃣ Caricature Portrait Section: Dedicated to creating satirical portraits of Moroccan cartoonist Bouali Mbarek, honoring his contribution to press cartooning and satirical art.
📚 The catalog stands as an important artistic archive documenting one of the most significant caricature events in Africa and reinforcing Morocco’s growing role as a hub for international cartoon art.
