🏛️ The Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, through its Directorate of Social Services and Department of Disability Affairs, has announced an important update regarding the International Cartoon Competition 2026 under the theme "Invisible Disability".
📊 At the jury evaluation meeting held on 14 April 2026 for International Cartoon Competition, a total of 464 entries were assessed. Following the identification of an error, it was decided to add a further 8 cartoons to the shortlist. Consequently, whilst there should have been a total of 34 cartoons on the shortlist, only 26 were included. We apologise for this error.
⚠️ There is no ranking among the works placed on hold. Should you have any claims regarding similarities, the use of artificial intelligence, plagiarism, or previous award-winning status, please submit your report, along with relevant documents and evidence, to the email address newcartoonizmir@gmail.com by 22 April 2026. Applications submitted after the specified deadline will not be considered or taken into account.
