Results of the 52nd International Graphic Humor Competition in Italy

52nd edition of the Marostica International Humour Contest, Italy

🇮🇹 The organizing committee of the Umoristi a Marostica International Cartoon Competition has officially announced the results of its 52nd edition, confirming its position as one of the world’s leading events in graphic humor. The competition brought together 396 artists from 62 countries, creating a truly global artistic platform.

💭 This year’s theme, "Hope", went beyond geographical and cultural boundaries, reflecting urgent human issues, from conflict and suffering to the search for freedom and environmental challenges. Hope emerged not as mere optimism, but as an inner strength that sustains humanity in the most difficult times.

👩‍⚖️ The works were evaluated by an international jury chaired by illustrator Mariagrazia “Gio” Quaranta, alongside Ferruccio Giromini, Maurizio Minoggio, Alessandro Tich, Roberto Ciufoli, and Luca Raffaelli, with the participation of representatives from Fondazione Banca Popolare di Marostica Volksbank, the Municipality of Marostica, and the organizing body Gruppo Grafico Marosticense.

🏆 The Winners:

🥇 The International Grand Prix Scacchiera 2026 was awarded to Iranian artist 🇮🇷 Heibat Ahmadi.
