🎨 In a remarkable artistic and cultural event, the Institute of Leon Culture (ILC) inaugurated the exhibition “Umbral, trazo a trazo”, a visual tribute dedicated to the legacy of renowned Spanish writer and journalist Francisco Umbral. The exhibition presents a unique artistic journey through his literary and intellectual world, interpreted by 19 illustrators and caricaturists from Spain and Hispano-America, reflecting diverse artistic visions and creative styles.
🖼️ The exhibition features outstanding works by prominent artists including Antonio Mingote, Máximo, Fernando Vicente, Ricardo, and Toño Benavides, among others. Their illustrations and caricatures offer visitors a fresh and expressive perspective on Francisco Umbral’s cultural and literary universe.
📍 Hosted at the Sala Polivalente of the Edificio Fierro in León, the exhibition will remain open to the public until June 14, with free admission, allowing visitors and art lovers to explore this exceptional collection celebrating one of Spain’s most influential literary figures.
