🇬🇷 Winners of the 3rd International Exhibition of Graphic Humor LEA 2026

🇬🇷 The winners of the 3rd International Exhibition of Graphic Humor LEA 2026 have been officially announced during the opening ceremony of the 18th LEA Festival (Literature in Athens), held under the auspices of the Municipality of Athens.

 

🖼️ This year's competition was dedicated to the theme "Literature and Freedom", attracting cartoonists and graphic humor artists from around the world who explored the relationship between books, imagination, and freedom through visual satire and artistic expression.

 

🏆 The Winners:

🥇 First Prize was awarded to Italian artist 🇮🇹 Marilena Nardi for her outstanding artwork, which cleverly portrayed the concept of freedom through the power of books.

🥈 Second Prize went to renowned cartoonist 🇮🇷 Ali Miraee of Iran, currently residing in the United States, in recognition of his original and creative interpretation of the competition theme.

 

🏅 The jury also awarded Honorable Mentions to:

🇨🇴 Elena Ospina - Colombia

🇫🇷 Patrice Crochet - France
