Jury of the 2nd International Cartoon Festival in Panama

🇵🇦 The organizing committee of the 2nd International Cartoon Festival in Panama 2026 has announced the international jury for this edition, dedicated to the theme "The Panama Canal as a Historical and Cultural Symbol".

 

🏆 The festival will award US$500 to the winner, while the selected works are scheduled to be exhibited in Panama City on September 16, 2026, with the exhibition also planned to travel to different locations across the country.

 

 

The Jury

 

🌎 The jury brings together six accomplished cartoonists, illustrators, designers, and visual artists from Colombia, Costa Rica, and Panama:

🇨🇴 Daniela Jaramillo Restrepo, cartoonist, designer, tattoo artist — Colombia.

🇨🇷 María Daniela Espinoza, editorial cartoonist, designer, illustrator — Costa Rica.

🇨🇴 Angie Mansur, visual artist, illustrator, visual designer — Colombia.

🇵🇦 Hilde Sucre, editorial cartoonist, Director of Expo Cartoon Panama — Panama.

🇵🇦 Paye Cobos, cartoonist, illustrator, graphic artist — Panama.

🇨🇷 Luis Demetrio Calvo Solís, editorial cartoonist, illustrator — Costa Rica.
