๐ง๐ท The organizing committee of the 53rd International Humor Exhibition of Piracicaba has officially announced its winners following the opening ceremony held on August 29, 2026, at the Teatro Erotides de Campos in Piracicaba, Brazil.
๐ The 53rd edition received 2,445 submissions from artists representing 44 nationalities, with 385 selected works by 152 artists from 28 countries presented in the main exhibition.
๐ The Winners:
๐ Grand Prize: ๐ง๐ท Thiago Lucas – Brazil
His winning work also received the Thematic Award: “AI x IH – The Duel of the Century: Algorithm vs. Soul.” The work humorously addresses the impact of artificial intelligence on the job market and the growing concern over the replacement of human workers by technology.
