🇧🇭 Mashq Art Space is pleased to invite cartoonists from around the world to participate in “NOT YET”, an international cartoon exhibition held on the occasion of World Children’s Day, exploring childhood and children’s rights through the art of cartooning.
In a world where many children are still deprived of their fundamental rights and face challenges related to education, protection, safety, and equal opportunities, we invite cartoonists to address these issues through their artistic language of satire, criticism, and symbolism. The exhibition seeks to raise questions about the world children live in today and the future we aspire to create for them.
Participation Guidelines
1. Theme
Submitted artworks must address childhood and children’s rights, exploring one or more of the following themes:
ـ The right to education and equal opportunities.
- Protection and safety.
- Children and the adult world.
- Hope and the future.
2. Number of Entries Each artist may submit a maximum of two artworks.
3. Artwork Specifications
- Physical artworks must not exceed 30 × 30 cm and must be ready for display.
- Digitally submitted artworks must be of high resolution and suitable for printing and exhibition.
4. Originality & AI policy
All submitted artworks must be original and created by the participating artist. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to generate or create any part of the submitted artwork is strictly prohibited. Works that have previously been exhibited or entered in other exhibitions or competitions are not eligible.
5. Submission Requirements
Artists may submit their work through either of the following methods:
A. Digital Submissions (Email) Please submit:
- A high-resolution digital image of the artwork in JPG or PNG format.
- Image resolution of at least 300 DPI.
- Maximum file size: 10 MB per artwork.
- Artist’s full name.
- Artwork title.
- Original artwork dimensions.
- A short artist biography.
B. Physical Submissions
- The original artwork must be ready for display.
- The artist’s name, artwork title, and dimensions must be provided.
- A short artist biography must be included.

7. Artwork Usage Rights
Artists retain the copyright of their submitted artworks while granting Mashq Art Space permission to use them for exhibition promotion, media coverage, and documentation purposes, with appropriate credit given to the artist.
