📰 The organizing committee of the First International Cartoon Festival ExpoCartoon Panama 2025, to be held in Panama City from September 15 to 19, 2025, has announced the formation of the international jury that will evaluate the works submitted to the competition.
👤 The jury brings together a distinguished group of leading cartoonists from Latin America including:

🇨🇷 María Daniela Espinoza from Costa Rica
🇨🇴 Leonardo Arias "Don Fingo" from Colombia
🇨🇴 Angie Mansur "Gretta Con Ganas" from Colombia
🇨🇷 Luis Demetrio Calvo "Mecho" from Costa Rica
🇨🇴 Fernando Pica from Colombia
🎨 This year the contest focuses on two central themes the first is a caricature of Donald Trump and the second is fake news and the distorted truth.
The organizers aim to spark a global dialogue on the dangers of false and misleading information which spreads rapidly through digital media and social networks and creates harmful effects on public awareness politics and community health.
