Call for Entries.. 11th International Cartoon Festival, Kolašin 2026

🇲🇪 The organizers of the International Cartoon Festival "Kolašin 2026" have officially announced the 11th International Cartoon Festival, inviting cartoonists and caricature artists from around the world to participate in one of Montenegro's leading international cartoon events.

 

🎯 Rules:

1️⃣ Topic 1: Main Topic of the Festival: Mountain Tourism.

2️⃣ Topic 2: Portrait Caricature - Miodrag Dado Djurić, a famous Montenegrin painter who lived in Paris.

👤 Participants can send a maximum of ONE paper per topic. A total of 2 papers. Each paper must have the name and surname of the author, the country and the serial number of the paper. Example: JOHN SMITH, USA 1, JOHN SMITH, USA 2.

🏔️ The theme of this year's festival is Mountain Tourism: The theme covers mountain tourism throughout the all year. This includes rafting, cycling, horseback riding, picking wild berries, skiing, hiking and all the activities offered by mountains, mountain villages and towns, rivers and lakes, healthy food and a healthy lifestyle in general.

💶 We will reward the winning works of the main theme with the First, Second and Third prizes, which will be in money and in the form of trophies, diplomas and T-shirts with the best works.

🎁 We will also reward the best work on the topic: Portrait of Miodrag Dado Djurić, a famous Montenegrin and world painter... We will also award five special awards - diplomas. Good luck to everyone!

🏆 Prizes:

🥇 First Prize: 1000 euros, a trophy, a diploma and a t-shirt with the winning work.

🥈 Second Prize: 500 euros, a trophy, a diploma and a t-shirt with the winning work.

🥉 Third Prize: 300 euros, a trophy, a diploma and a t-shirt with the winning work.

🏅 Prize for the Best Work on the Subject - Portrait Caricature: 400 euros, trophy, diploma and T-shirt with the winning work.

🏅 Five Special Awards: Salon Diploma for both topics.

🖼️ WINNERS MUST YES THEY SEND THE ORIGINAL WORKS OR BRING THEM WITH THEM TO THE AWARDS.

 

⏳ Deadline: July 31, 2026.

📅 The jury's DECISION will be published on August 1, 2026. year, on all foreign cartoon websites.

🏛️ The winners will be formally announced at the Cultural Center in Kolašin.

🎉 The awards ceremony will take place in August 2026 at the Kolašin Cultural Center.
