Winner of the Grand International Caricature Prize “Málaga Grenet” – Peru 2026

🇵🇪 The organizing committee of the Grand International Caricature Prize “Málaga Grenet” – Peru 2026 has announced the results of the fourth edition of the prestigious international caricature competition, dedicated this year to Walt Disney.

🌍 The competition brought together 317 artists from 49 countries, who submitted 413 caricatures portraying the legendary American animation pioneer, challenging artists to capture Disney’s distinctive features through the expressive language of physiognomic caricature.

🏆 🇩🇪 Frank Hoppmann of Germany has won the Grand International Caricature Prize “Málaga Grenet” 2026, receiving the top award for his artistic interpretation of Walt Disney.

 

 

💰 The Grand Prize includes US$5,000, a commemorative statuette by master Julio Málaga Grenet, a certificate of recognition, an art kit, and an all-expenses-paid trip to Arequipa, Peru, to attend the official award ceremony.

⚖️ The winning work was selected by a five-member jury composed of renowned Peruvian artists: Ricardo Córdova, Juan Acevedo, Javier Rodríguez, Omar Zevallos, and Pepe Álvarez.
